This will be my 15th year at Eastside High School! I can honestly say I have the best students and the best job ever. I look forward to coming to school each day, and I am excited for this new school year!
I previously taught students with varying disabilities at J. L. Mann Academy for seven years, where I met my husband Mike, who is now retired from being a principal for 20 years. For eight years, I was a stay-at-home mom with my three children, Liam , Aidan, and Hope.
Before I became a teacher, my summers (20+ years) were spent at a camp for individuals with intellectual disabilities that my father started back in 1968, Camp Spearhead. It was at camp where my love grew for individuals with special needs and my passion to become a Special Education Teacher began. While I was a stay-at-home mom, I began a photography business. Hopefully you will see my love for photography throughout the year. In addition to photography, I love to read, exercise and spend time with my family.
Mrs. Bailey returns to Eastside for another successful year! She comes to us with many years of experience as an ABA Specialist (Applied Behavior Analysis). You can learn more about her on her website!
Hi! I’m Miss. Wood! I’m a Clemson graduate and current master’s student, and I’m also a former Clemson Cheerleader. I love spending time with my horses, playing pickleball, and being with my friends and family. I’m so excited to be in the classroom with everyone and can’t wait to learn, grow, and make lots of fun memories together this year!
