This will be my 14th year at Eastside High School! I can honestly say I have the best students and the best job ever. I look forward to coming to school each day, and I am excited for this new school year!
I previously taught students with varying disabilities at J. L. Mann Academy for seven years, where I met my husband Mike, who is now retired from being a principal for 20 years. For eight years, I was a stay-at-home mom with my three children, Liam , Aidan, and Hope who will be attending USC this Fall.
Before I became a teacher, my summers (20+ years) were spent at a camp for individuals with intellectual disabilities that my father started back in 1968, Camp Spearhead. It was at camp where my love grew for individuals with special needs and my passion to become a Special Education Teacher began. While I was a stay-at-home mom, I began a photography business. Hopefully you will see my love for photography throughout the year. In addition to photography, I love to read, exercise and spend time with my family.
Mrs. Bailey returns to Eastside for another successful year! She comes to us with many years of experience as an ABA Specialist (Applied Behavior Analysis). You can learn more about her on her website!
