About RMS Beta Club

National Beta's official criteria, per our constitution states that all students must be performing at or above grade level in order to be eligible for membership and must display: (a) worthy, moral and ethical character; (b) exemplary achievement, and commendable attitude. Specific academic requirements for membership are not established at the national level, as local systems of grading and merit determination vary. Each local school and club may establish such academic requirements for membership that will ensure the selection of exemplary qualifications. 

The RMS Beta Club requires students to maintain an A average in all of their classes throughout the school year. Students must display strong character. Students must also complete at least 20 service hours throughout the year. Service hour sheet is attached at bottom of page. 

Behavioral Requirements:

• No disciplinary write-ups or office/bus referrals

• No In-School (Saturday School) or Out-of-School Suspensions

• Teacher references/recommendations

• Regular school attendance
