All About Me

            I am more than thrilled to have your student in my class this year!  This is my twelfth year teaching at Pelham Road Elementary and I know it will be a great one!  I am originally from Rock Hill, SC.  I started my education at Winthrop University, where I learned a lot, but I knew there was more to see.   I decided to transfer to Converse College, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Early Childhood Education.  I  continued my degree and earned my masters from Walden University.  I earned my M.S. in Education with a specialization in Technology Integration in grades k-12.   I always knew that I wanted to be a teacher and I always knew that I wanted to teach Kindergarten!  

Fun Facts about Me

• While at Converse, I was a member of the honors fraternity Alpha Lambda Delta and Mortar Board.  Since being out of college, I am a member of Palmetto State Teachers Association and NAEYC. 

• I was the 21-22 Pelham Road Teacher of the Year

•   I have one dog named Milo. He is a cavapoo and loved to cuddle!

• I have a three year old girl and her name is Mary Ansley.

• I also have a one year old boy named Harrison.

• I am married to a wonderful man named Jonathan.  We have been married for nine years!

• I have one older sister who also lives in Greenville with her husband.
