Week of March 30, 2026
Hi Families!
Our new letter this week is E for Egg. We will have lots of fun with egg activities this week and will end the week with an egg hunt. If you would like to send in some plastic eggs with your child to contribute to the hunt, we would appreciate that. If you are not able to, I will have some extras on hand! The cheap ones from Dollar Tree are just fine.
This is our last week with the story One Duck Stuck by Phyllis Root. We have practiced counting 1-10 along with the story, starting with 1 and adding another number each day until we get to 10. We will also learn some new vocabulary in this story. This week we will focus on crickets, snakes, and frogs. We will learn more about each of those animals. We also have started learning about Spring!
Our new shape is a Rectangle. Look for rectangles in your home or places that you go.
Here is a read-aloud in case you would like to preview the story. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2KP45pldHIg.
