About Me
This is my 18th year in education and my third year at Hollis Academy. I teach ESOL classes for K5 and 1st grades and my colleagues, Mrs. Childers and Mrs. Velez-Guerrero, teach ESOL for grades 2-5. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Colorado and a Master’s degree in Reading from the University of Virginia. I have worked in Colorado, Virginia, and now South Carolina as an ESOL teacher, a reading teacher/interventionist, and as an instructional coach. I am certified to teach ESOL, Reading, Elementary Education, and Early Childhood Education. I am a Highly Qualified teacher in all areas.
I love to read, listen to music, and spend time with my family. Here are a few more facts about me:
