I've taught music at Welcome Elementary for 29 years and I'm highly qualified to teach music in grades 5K- 12th grade. I received a Bachelor of Science in Music Education in 1991 with two areas of certification- Music Education and Early Childhood Education My involvement in music began at a very early age. When I was in 4th grade, I sang my first solo. My love for music continued throughout middle school, high school and college. I've had the opportunity to use my musical talents in many ways including singing in choirs, singing solos, acting and singing in dramatic productions including operas, musicals and recitals. I'm excited to share my love of music with the students I teach. My hope is that music will enrich their lives and be a blessing to them for the rest of their lives.
