Expectations
Expectations for the Digital Media Lab 208
Rules:
I will operate with the following principles as my guide:
I will react without anger to problem situations.
I will give the student opportunities to resolve problems.
If the student is unwilling or unable to resolve problems, I will solve them in an appropriate manner.
Students are required to come to class prepared.
Students will stow their mobile phones with their belongings in a designated area.
All infractions of the rules will be dealt with individually.
All students will never have any liquids/candy/food near the computers. Water may be kept at the front of the room.
Students will not install any unauthorized software/ nor bring any unauthorized devices into the lab.
Students will only visit sites approved by the teacher.
Students will adhere to all district technology acceptable use policies when using district machines/connections.
Typical Digital Art and Design Day:
On a regular basis, students will practice with new techniques along side video or teacher instruction.
Following practice, students will apply the technique in mini-projects, with the expectation of using the technique in a major project.
Students will submit their work for grading on our Google Classroom page. Email me if you would like to have parental access to this site.
