MR. Floyd's Class Website
Required Materials
Paper and pencil will be used EVERY SINGLE DAY.
Chromebooks will be used periodically, so come prepared.
Folder or binder in which to keep completed notes and completed work (It is recommended that this be separate from your other classes.)
Calculator (This is optional, as we have in-class calculators and there are online calculators for home use.)
Colored Pencils and/or Highlighters (Again, optional... I color code often while teaching; you could do the same on your notes with your highlighters.)
Dry erase markers (Yup... optional. I will have a few for the class, but they don't stay in great shape for long.)

Helpful Practice Sites & Tools
Desmos Scientific Calculator and Graphing Tool: This is an online calculator and graphing tool students can use if they don't have access to a graphing calculator outside of the classroom.
Calculate84 Phone Application: This calculator is exactly like the handheld ones we use in class.
Khan Academy: Geometry CP, Probability & Statistics CP, and Precalculus HN students have access to mini review videos as well as practice questions for sections, practice quizzes, and practice tests. These units may differ slightly than the order taught in class, but you will still find all of our classroom material on the Khan Academy website.
Remind: Each morning around 8:00, I will send out a blurb containing the day's lesson and (beginning two days out) any upcoming assessments. Students and parents are encouraged (but not required) to join the Remind group.
YouTube: There are thousands of videos made by myriad teachers containing examples and explanations of everything topic we cover.
IXL: This is a site where you can setup a free trial and practice math skills from elementary through college level classes.
