I am available after school on most Mondays and Wednesdays for tutoring and make-up work. You must make up work within five days of an absence. If you do not submit work on time, you can still get credit per the school's late work policy. Please make every effort NOT to get 0's for not doing your assignments. You can also arrange to see me at lunch.

Supplies

  • Loose leaf paper, pens, pencils
  • 1 Highlighter (any color)
  • Index cards
  • Small Post-It Notes
  • Colored Pencils
  • Small marble composition book for "Bellringers"

Classroom Expectations

Students should...

1. Treat everyone in the classroom with respect: other students, the teacher, guests.

2. Keep hands, feet, objects, and negative comments to yourself.

3. Be seated and ready for class when the tardy bell rings.

4. Chew ONLY gum. Place used gum in the trash can.

5. Drink ONLY water in class.

6. Place your phone in assigned pocket when entering the room.

7. Refrain from talking when a classmate or teacher is talking.

8. Stay in your seat unless otherwise directed by the teacher.

9. Restroom passes will ONLY be signed during the middle twenty minutes of class (school wide rule).

10. Keep your head off your desk.

Additionally, as honors students, I would ask that you

1. Turn work in on time. Please note the late work policy for honors' classes!

2. Participate in class; ask good questions.

3. Read and write effectively and with the intention to learn.

A note about late work: The NEW late work policy is school wide and will be followed in this course. It is best to turn work in on time when assigned.

HONORS COURSES

Minor - 10 points off per day for 5 days and then zero

Major - 10 points off per day for 5 days and then until end of quarter to turn in for max of 50

Please print and complete the information on the student sheet and bring it with you to class. I will take them beginning the first day of class and continue collecting them until September 15, 2018.
