About Me

Welcome to my class, and thank you for clicking on my website! I am Mr. Whatley, and I will predominantly be teaching World History and AP World History here at Travelers Rest High School. I was blessed to be able to complete my student teaching here at TR during the 2024 spring semester and am very excited to start my second year of teaching! I graduated Summa Cum Laude from North Greenville University in May of 2024 with my major in Secondary Education: Social Studies and a Minor in Economics. I also work at the TR and Cherrydale Chick-Fil-A for the past eight years, so I have been serving the community for quite some time. I enjoy investing, hiking, reading, and watching old movies. I am super excited to teach you/your student this year at Travelers Rest!
