ReCRAFT DESIGN CHALLENGE
Calling All Designers!
Who: Heritage Elementary Students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades.
What: ReCraft Fashion Design Challenge
When: January and February
How: The project will be introduced in Art class the week of January 29th-February 2nd. Students will brainstorm and sketch out their designs in Art. We will have a small selection of recycled materials that they can use for their projects and you are welcome to donate more materials too! We will continue working on their fashion items through February and then take them home to finish at the end of February.
They can work in groups of up to 4 students. They can work on them outside of art class and at home too.
ReCraft Creative Reuse Center is located at 2439 Laurens Road in Greenville. They are open from Wednesday -Saturday from 10-6pm. If you tell them you are participating in the ReCraft Design Challenge, they will let you fill up a bag up with supplies for free.
ALL PROJECTS MUST BE ENTERED BY MARCH 29th using the google form.
