Fencing is an organized sport involving the use of a sword—épée, foil, or sabre—for attack and defense according to set movements and rules. Fencing is fast paced and builds agility, speed, and coordination. Foil and épée tend to be slower compared to sabre. Foil and sabre have more rules about where you can hit your opponent compared to épée. They all however, are respected forms of fencing no matter the differences in rules.
