2018 S.C. Accountability Student Engagement Survey for the Annual State Report Card Survey Administration Instructions

The student survey link must be accessed and completed while on the district’s network. Here is the survey link: https://aes.greenville.k12.sc.us/Login.aspx (Please post this link in a location that students can easily access it – Website or Google Classroom)

Directions for using the link to complete the survey:

· Once a student clicks on the link, s/he will be prompted to login using her/his GCS school login and password credentials.

· Once logged in, the student will see his/her unique access code. Have the student write down the access code verbatim. After writing his/her access code, have the student click on the next screen prompt.

· The student will then choose a survey language (i.e., English or Spanish).

· Next, the student will be prompted to enter his/her unique survey access code. S/he should key the code into the text box verbatim. At this point the student begins the survey.

*Note- The second survey question asks the student to choose his/her race. The survey developers do not have Hispanic listed not an option, which may be confusing to students. Students of Hispanic lineage may wish to skip this question or choose a best answer. The next question asks students if they are Hispanic or Not Hispanic or Latino.
