Welcome to another Great Year at Greenville High School. Our award-winning Orchestra continues to perform beyond expectations! For the 4th year in a row, the GHS Orchestra will receive the Outstanding Performance Award- the highest honor for an Orchestra program in our state. Here are some of the highlights that led to us being 1 of only 2 high schools in GCS and 1 of 15 in South Carolina to get the award this year.
All-State Orchestra: Jordi Baker ● Ben Bloodworth ● Heyward Byce
Gabriel Fried ● Christin Huang ● Isabel Weathers
Region Orchestra: 19 students ● All-County Orchestra: 4 students
Solo & Ensemble Festival: 30+ Superiors score
The GHS Orchestra received a rating of Superior in Class V at CPA.
The GHS Chamber Orchestra received a rating of Superior with Distinction in Class VI at CPA.
My 2025-2026 schedule is as follows:
1st Period - Freshmen Orchestra: 8:45-10:20
2nd Period -Intermediate Upperclassmen Orchestra: 10:25-11:55
3rd Period - Advanced Upperclassmen Orchestra: 12:00-2:10
4th Period- Planning: 2:15-3:45
