Welcome to this webpage! My name is Jessica Hines, and I am happy to work in a career that I enjoy. I have been teaching and coaching at the high school level for 12 years, and this will be my sixth year at J. L. Mann. I am certified in High School Mathematics, and I am an Assistant Coach for Varsity Softball at Mann. Teaching and coaching are both passions in my life. In addition to working with students on the softball field, I also help sponsor Key Club. This club focuses on community service projects that help locals in the community and students at Mann! I love helping students see the impact they can have in their school, their community, and among their peers. I am looking forward to discovering what all I can offer the students at Mann this year!
Here are a few facts about me. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education from the University of South Carolina Upstate. After teaching for a year, I went back to school and received a Master's degree in Theory and Practice from Arkansas State University, and in the future want to explore more of the curriculum side of education.
I am happy to begin this new journey at Mann, and I hope I can make a difference!
