My name is Jessica Zannini. I have been in education for over 20 years. I taught 3rd-5th grade for 15 years. I then moved to the library. I have been a school librarian for 6 years. This will be my first year at Heritage Elementary. I have a passion for literature and loved sharing new books and technology with my students.
The first book I remember reading on my own was Stone Fox by John Gardiner.
I have always loved animals. I have a dog named Haven and a cat named Charlie.
I have two kids. My son is in 5th grade this year and my daughter is in 7th grade. My kids love their sports and you will often find me on the sideline for practices, competitions, and tournaments.
I moved a lot as a kid. I never went to a school longer than 2 years until I went to the College of Charleston.
I love watching sports. (TR Rockies, Furman, Clemson, Patriots, Red Sox, Braves, and any team with passion, sportsmanship and a good story)
My family
I love riding horses.
Haven and Charlie while we are at school.
We spend many days at a baseball field or competitive cheer tournament.
