Our multi-categorical classroom serves students with a variety of strengths, abilities, and individual learning needs. Instruction is provided through whole-group lessons, small-group activities, learning stations, and individual support.

Our classroom also has a strong functional focus. Students will build practical life skills, independence, communication, problem-solving, and appropriate workplace behaviors. These skills will help prepare them for future career opportunities and meaningful employment based on their individual interests, strengths, and abilities.

Our classroom is supported by two adults: myself and our instructional aide. This allows us to provide students with additional assistance throughout the day while maintaining a structured and encouraging learning environment.

Students who qualify may also receive services such as speech therapy. These services may be provided individually or in a small-group setting based on each student’s Individualized Education Program.
