Student Address Changes/Verifications

This is a very important message about changing or verifying your student’s address here at Hillcrest Middle School.  

If you have recently moved or will be moving at any point during the school year, you must contact our registrar, Ms. Freeman, & provide her with the new updated proofs of address in order to make/confirm this change.

A Student’s address WILL NOT be changed in our system until the parent has contacted & provided new proofs of address.

If a recent move now has you & your student living with family/friends in their home, there is a specific district residency affidavit that must be completed along with new proofs of address.

Please note that parents have the ability to make changes to their students address through their Parent Backpack accounts, however that again WILL NOT change the student’s address in our system. Parents are still required to provide new proofs of address.

It is very important we ensure all student information, especially home address, is correct in our system because this is used to determine school assignments & bus routes. This is especially important for our current 8th graders who will be moving onto high school next year.

If you will be moving over the summer while school is out, please let Ms. Freeman know as this could affect your student’s school assignment for next school year. If you would like to verify the address or any information we currently have on file for your student, please come into the front office so that we can further assist you & make sure to bring a valid photo ID.
