Ms. Buford

Hi there! My name is Hannah Buford, and I am the school counseling intern working with Ms. DeForest and 7th grade this semester! I am very excited to be here at Hillcrest Middle, and can't wait to work with all of you!

I attended Greenville County Schools myself, and then went on to attend Clemson University where I majored in Early Childhood Education. For the past three years, I have been a first grade teacher here in Greenville County. I absolutely loved my time in the classroom, and got to work with some of the most amazing students, families, and teachers. Last fall, I also began pursuing my school counseling certification through Clemson as well. I am looking forward to continuing to work with students and families, but now in the school counselign role! 

Outside of school, I love to go for a long walk or attempt a new baking recipe. I have a dog named Bowman, so I am sure you will get to hear lots of funny stories about him over the course of the semester. I am also a big Clemson fan, and love to make it back for a football game any chance I get!
