Is your Chromebook Broken? If so, please follow the steps below.
Broken Chromebooks
Report to the Chromebook Room before school or during lunch to report your Chromebook as broken.
Fill out the Chromebook Repair Form and turn in both the form and your broken Chromebook to the Chromebook Room.
You will be issued a replacement Chromebook that will become your "new" Chromebook for the remainder of the school year.
Please note that students will also receive coverage for ONE incident of accidental damage per year. Examples include the following:
- Liquid spilled on or in the Chromebook.
- Drops, falls and other collisions.
- Damaged or broken LCD screen due to a drop.
*Please note, that students WILL NOT receive free repair coverage for more than ONE damaged or cracked screen per school year.
Greenville County School District has purchased Lenovo Chromebooks that come with a 3-year warranty. This warranty covers situations such as hardware failures, issues with charging and powering on, and the keyboard or touchpad not functioning.Â
