Social and emotional learning (SEL) is the process through which children and adults understand and
manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain
positive relationships, and make responsible decisions. CASEL
Students at GMA will participate in social-emotional learning during RAM time.
Topics will vary each week.
How You Can Help:
We encourage you to talk with your child about what they are learning during this time. Extending these conversations into the home allows for reinforcing what is happening in the classroom by giving students real-world opportunities to grow their social-emotional skills.
