This is my 12th year as the Media Specialist at Gateway Elementary.  I have been married to my college sweetheart, Reece for 31 years!  We have a growing family of adult children- our daughter Abby ( and her husband), our son Ben ( and his wife),  and our son Sam.  Our 2 sweet dogs round out our family.  Our youngest is staring his second year of college, so we are officially empty nesters!  My favorite things include spending time with family, being outdoors - especially in the mountains, hiking, running, crafts and of course - READING!  Working in the library is truly my dream job and a blessing. I love being a Gateway Gator and being apart of this wonderful community.  

I am excited to be a full time Gateway Gator.  I am the Media Center clerk for Mrs. Jackson as well as our Tech Lab teacher.  I am a Furman University graduate and my husband and I returned to Travelers Rest after living in several cities in South Carolina.  I have four sons, two daughters-in-law and five grandchildren.  My hobbies include running, reading, hiking and hanging out with my family and friends.  I worked many years as a 4K teacher and preschool assistant director.  I look forward to exploring the always changing subject of technology with you.
