Welcome to Third Grade!
My name is Avery Evans. I recently earned my B.A. in Elementary Education from Clemson University (Go Tigers!) and am currently pursuing my Master's in Teaching through Clemson’s Teacher Residency Program. I’m so excited to be part of the Fork Shoals family and can’t wait to grow alongside your child this year!
I’m originally from Chicago, IL, and I’m a twin! I grew up as a competitive dancer and still love to dance whenever I can. I also enjoy teaching pilates and staying active in fun ways.
Outside of school, I love spending time outdoors at the lake or beach and playing with my two dogs, Bo and Bruno. I also love to travel! Some of my favorite places to visit are Pawleys Island, SC, to see my dad; Chicago, IL, to visit my mom; and Austin, TX, where my sister lives. One of the most amazing places I’ve ever traveled to is Italy!
I’m looking forward to a year full of learning, growing, and fun in our classroom!
