All About Me!

My name is Sydney Hampston and I am so excited to be teaching 4th grade at AJW again this year! This is my second year at AJ and in 4th grade! 

I graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in American Sign Language Studies (Go Tigers🐯). I am originally from Hershey, Pennsylvania, but moved to the South for college. I have really enjoyed living here and I don't plan on leaving anytime soon! 

My significant other, Kevin, is also a teacher at Greenville Middle Academy, where he teaches 7th-grade math. We love exploring Greenville together and are always finding new restaurants to try.

• I am an avid reader, I have read over 45 books each year for the past 5 years.

• My favorite animal is a penguin.

• My favorite sweet treat is chocolate or ice cream (I can't pick).

• I love to travel and explore new places.

• I love to cook and try new recipes!
