This honors-level Spanish II course builds on beginner skills to develop stronger communicative ability in listening, speaking, reading and writing. Students will expand vocabulary, deepen cultural understanding, and use more complex grammatical structures to discuss identity, daily life, health, childhood, and community participation. Emphasis is on real-world tasks, short presentations, and cultural comparisons. Assessment includes formative checks, projects, presentations, quizzes, and a unit exam.

In high school, students are prohibited from utilizing personal electronic devices and accessories during the school day (8:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.) with the exception that schools are permitted to develop time outside of the classroom, such as during and adjacent to lunch, that students can utilize the devices if that use is in furtherance of instruction and school activities. For violations of this policy, students will be referred to administration.
