Daily Schedule Student Handbook Highlights 1st Grade Syllabus Most Common Words
Hello! My name is Sheila Robinson and I am so excited to be teaching first grade this year! This will be my 4th year at Monarch and my 23rd year of teaching. I have taught 1st grade, kindergarten, and reading intervention. I have 2 amazing kids, my daughter Kailee is going to be in 11th grade and my son Garrett works for DRB homes as a project manager. I have been married for 26 years to my husband Corey. We love spending time together as a family biking, skiing, and taking walks in the evenings.
I am from Pennsylvania where I attended Slippery Rock University. I obtained a psychology degree at SRU, this is also where I met my husband. We moved to South Carolina in 1998. After we moved to South Carolina I attended Converse College to get my education degree. I started my teaching career at Greenbrier Elementary School where I work for 17 years. I taught virtual 1st grade for two years before coming to Monarch. I love teaching children to read and watching them grow!
