Mrs. Martin

Hello! My name is Mrs. Martin, and I am SO excited to be your child's teacher this year! This is my twelth year teaching with Greenville County Schools, my third year teaching at Monarch, and my third year in first grade!Before moving to first grade, I taught kindergarten for nine years.

I grew up in Walhalla, SC and attended Clemson University, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Education in 2012. After graduating, I earmed my Master's in Education from the University of Phoenix and completed my Early Childhood Certification through Furman University. 

After colleged, my husband, Bryce, and I moved to Greenville, and we've been here ever since! We have two wonderful boys, Miles (8) and Mac (4), and we are excited to welcome our third child - a baby girl - in October! We live in the Five Forks area and we absolutely love being part of this community! 

As a family we enjoy traveling, spending time at Lake Keowee, cheering on the Clemson Tigers at football games, and exploring all Greenville has to offer.

I am truly looking foward to getting to know your child and helping them learn and grow this year. I can't wait to see all the wonderful things this school year will bring!
