Mrs. Wahl is the Director of Choirs at Fountain Inn High School in Fountain Inn, South Carolina. Mrs. Wahl graduated from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music as well as a Bachelor of Music degree with emphasis in Choral Education. She completed a Master of Education degree in Administration and Supervision in May of 2018 from Converse College in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Mrs. Wahl currently serves as the GCSD District Honor Choir Coordinator for high schools, and Co-Lead Teacher for HS Choral Music.
Mrs. Wahl is a member of the South Carolina Music Educators Association, the National Association for Music Education and the American Choral Directors Association. She is in her 15th year of teaching choral music. In those 15 years, she has taught in Lexington School District One, Spartanburg School District Five, Spartanburg School District Six, and Greenville County School District.
Many of Mrs. Wahl’s students participate in the South Carolina All-State Honor Choirs each year as well as the South Carolina Choral Performance Assessment, and SC ACDA Honor Choirs. In addition to state level events, Mrs. Wahl's students also travel to perform and compete.
Mrs. Wahl is the mother of two beautiful children, Nora and Owen. Mrs. Wahl, her husband Stan, and her children reside in Simpsonville, South Carolina. Mrs. Wahl performs with Greenville's Rivertree Singers, under the direction of Dr. Warren Cook. Mrs. Wahl is a founding member of the ensemble, Gallus Camerata.
