Audition Requirements

Audition Repertoire Information for prospective students:

Students should prepare:

• A solo piece or etude on your primary instrument (the SCBDA Honor band etude is acceptable)

• scales and arpeggios (as many as you know)

• possible sight reading

• OPTIONAL- a solo or etude on an auxiliary instrument (i.e. bass trombone, bass clarinet, etc.)

Pre-Screening requirements

• A solo piece or etude on your primary instrument (the SCBDA Honor band etude is acceptable)

• As many Major Scales as you know
