All About Mrs. Worden

Hello and thank you for visiting the Wayfinder website. I am Erika Worden and I am looking forward to spending the year with you and your child. I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. In 2006 I graduated with honors from Michigan State University with my bachelors in Elementary Education and in 2016 I earned my Masters in Education Technology from the University of South Carolina.

I was a teacher and Assistant Director at Childtime Learning Center in Auburn Hills, MI. In 2009 I moved to South Carolina and was a teacher at Gateway Academy before coming to Buena Vista in 2011. On June 29, 2013 I married my best friend.  March 6, 2017 my husband and I welcomed our only child, Autumn. 

My birthday is August 11th and my favorite color is green. I love Mexican food and the restaurant Papa's and Beer is amazing! I don't eat sweets, but I love Coke Zero. I absolutely love to read and when I have the free time you can usually find me at Barnes and Nobel or the library with a cup of coffee in my hand. I cheer for my Michigan State Spartans on Saturday and my Detroit Lions on Sunday.
