Course Components

ESOL stands for English for Speakers of Other Languages. 

ESOL is designed for students whose native language is not English. The central objective for students in an ESOL class is to further develop their English   language acquisition in the domains of reading, writing, speaking, and listening.

Course Progression

The students in my class will study units from the following National Geographic Inside textbook: Fundamentals Vol. 2 .

Each unit will include instruction on reading strategies, vocabulary, reading comprehension, grammar, writing, and listening and speaking practice.

A few of the unit titles are: "Our Living Planet," "Superstars," "Natural Forces," and "Creepy Classics."
