If you are a Building Construction teacher, CTE instructor, or Administrator and have found your way to my web site:
Welcome to one of the premiere Building Construction Programs in South Carolina!
All of my lesson plans are available for your review and aid as you build your program. I have taught for29 years and each year I revise my lesson plans, I do teach the same content, however I adapt to each classes unique circumstances, by referring to pacing guides and student profile sheets I developed for each section. At the bottom of this page I have links for my 2022-2023 , 2023-2024, 2024-2025 2025-2026 Unit lesson plans. I am available to assist you, talk with you or mentor should you need any assistance. I serve as an subject matter expert for NCCER , a position I have held since 1996. I serve on the text book review committee for the SC Department of Education. I have been a key note speaker around our country for local high schools, Career Centers, and business professionals for the past 20 years to educate, support, and motivate their work force, some of the topics were:
Collaboration "Why We all need to Work Together"
Curriculum Mapping "The Pathway for Student Success"
The Benefits of CTE "Where are all the Plumbers at?"
Professional Learning Community "How to Develop a Vibrant Professional Learning Community"
Improve your school performance "Write it, See it, Solve it!"
CTE Student Success "Why All These Standards"
Find your Why "Chasing That Almighty Dollar"
The LORAX "Lessons We All Need to Remember"
I realize we all have various gifts talents and abilities, and you are as valuable as I am or one of our collogues. I am just one of the 38, 441 CTE teachers in South Carolina. There are 12.3 million students enrolled in CTE programs across the United States, therefore we have a lot of work to accomplish to keep our country moving forward. One area I love is the writing and development and tracking of artifacts of curriculum, if you need any assistance please reach out.

I like each of you work with a great team of educators. I am fortunate to work with Mark Crain and Michael Rawls who helped develop this presentation we presented to help our colleagues at Enoree Career Center.
