SCRATCH WORK EXPECTATIONS
Scratch work will be expected for all quiz and tests. It may be required at other times as well as indicated by the instructor.
Scratch work will count as 20% of all quiz and tests. The grading rubric for scratch work is below.

MATH JOURNAL
A math journal is required for taking notes in math class. According to the National Institute of Health, "Research suggests that handwriting may offer specific advantages over typing especially when it comes to memory retention and comprehension. Handwriting has been shown to enhance memory retention compared with typing."
Students will be asked to upload their notes to various assignments in google classroom. All notes uploaded should be handwritten unless otherwise specified.
