I have been a math teacher for 29 years. I have taught 6,7, and 8th grade math throughout my career.
I love learning and I love technology. Because of my passions, I have 3 Masters degrees. I graduated from USC-Aiken with my undergraduate degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education as well as Middle School Math. I received a masters from the University of Phoenix in Educational Technology and another from Jacksonville State University in Media Specialist. I received my Education Specialist Degree in Administration from Clemson University.
I am originally from Walterboro, SC and lived in North Augusta, SC before moving to Greenville, SC. My husband, Brian, is the Offensive Line coach at Easley High School. My daughter, Katie, and her husband, Sean, live in Buffalo, NY with their 4 children Michael, Christian, Penny, and Spencer. My son, Ryne, and his wife, Emilee with their daughters Harper and Hallee, live in Springfield, MO. Emilee is an 4th grade teacher and Ryne is the Offensive Coordinator for Evangel University. Our youngest son, Josh and his wife Amy live in Greenville. Josh is a Cameraman for WYFF Channel 4 and Amy is the Social Media Director for 105.5 Roar radio station. Josh has earned two Emmy awards for his stellar reporting. We have two dogs, Trevor and Rey. We are HUGE Clemson fans. We have season tickets and attend as many of Clemson games that we can in addition to Easley High School. If you ever need to find me in the fall, I'm sitting in a stadium seat watching a football game somewhere. In addition to loving football, I play tennis, teach spin and pilates, and work part time at ACAC Five Forks.
