Meet The Teacher

Hi! My name is Erin Bowman and I teach multilingual learners! I grew up in Oregon, where I attended Oregon State University and studied Spanish, ESOL, and bilingual elementary education. I have taught high school Spanish for several years and love teaching language to students of all ages. I'm excited to be in elementary this year! 

 I have been married for nine years to my husband Nathan, who is from Canada. We lived in the beautiful province of British Columbia for six years before moving to Travelers Rest in 2023. We love going on road trips, exploring new cities, watching sports (football, baseball, golf), going on family vacations (theme parks!), and spending time with our nieces and nephews. Some of our favorite places to visit include Hawaii, Alberta, Tennessee, Florida, North Carolina, and of course, South Carolina! We have visited all 48 state parks in SC and had so much fun hiking, learning about history, and seeing new landscapes.
