We are very excited to bring back our Battle of the Books Club for 5th grade students!
Battle of the Books is a District-wide reading competition where participants will read 10 books from the South Carolina Children's Book Award nominee list. After reading these books and practicing comprehension questions, students will compete against other BOB teams in the district at a Regional Match on March 24, 2026. If we qualify, we will take part in Championship Match on March 31, 2026.Â
5th Grade students that are interested must have a permission form filled out and returned to Mrs. B by Friday, October 17. Students who choose to participate must read all 10 books by February 28, 2026. They also will participate in meetings on Wednesday mornings as scheduled (official meeting schedule TBD).

BoB Permission Form 25-26Please fill out this permission slip and return it to Mrs. B by October 17, 2025! When you turn it in, ask Mrs. B about checking out your first B.O.B book!
