My name is Stacy Conwell and this is my 15th year of teaching, but my fourth year at Greer High School!
I married my high school sweetheart and we have two sons, 11 and 5 years old.
Born and raised in Greer, SC, I graduated from Blue Ridge High School in 2003, attended North Greenville University and graduated with a Biology degree. After NGU, I received my Masters of Arts in Teaching in Secondary Ed Bio at Converse College.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, sleeping, watching my fav shows (The Office, Friends, Brooklyn Nine-Nine to name a few), and being a science nerd.
-Color: Purple. You'll notice that quickly based on my classroom!
-Pattern: Galaxy (blues and purples)
-Scent: coconut and lavender
-Drink: Water and coffee (no talkie before coffee... especially in the mornin')
-Starbucks order: Nitro cold brew or a venti blonde roast with an extra shot of heavy cream
-Candy: ice cubes gum (green or blue), mentos pure fresh gum (spearmint)
-Snacks: Pecans, almonds, pickles, cheese
-Books: oh, so many, but I love mysteries, thrillers, and of course science books :) Harry Potter is my favorite book series.
-School supplies: Sharpies (markers and pens), notepads, super sticky notes, Pilot G2 pens, Pentel liquid gel pens, anything made by TUL, Paper Mate flair pens... I'm a sucker for office supplies. I love them all!
-Stores/Shopping: Amazon of course. They have everything from A to Z... Target, Kohl's, and Aldi
-Restaurants: Chick-fil-a, Tipsy Taco, Tropical Grille, Culver's, Merrell's Pizza
-TV shows: Too many to list, but here are the top ones= New Girl, The Office, Brooklyn 99, Bob's Burgers, High Potential, Friends, Parks and Rec, Stranger Things, The Vampire Diaries, The Originals, Game of Thrones, LOST, Breaking Bad... ok that's enough. :)
-Music: You'd be surprised at my music library, but I mostly listen to 80's and 90's music. I have everything from classical to heavy metal, but NO country. Nope... don't like that.
-Other stuff: I love science jokes and puns. If I see any science-y shirt, I got to have it... especially if it has a joke on it too!!
