Anatomy and Physiology provides students with a basic knowledge of the structure and function of the human body and mechanisms for maintaining homeostasis within it. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking and student-centered learning. Through student research and debates, students will explore some of the ethical issues which arise with the progress of science.

• A three ring binder for notes and paper

• Loose leaf notebook paper

• A composition notebook (like this one)

• Pens and pencils

• Colored pencils (optional, but highly recommended)

• Index cards (optional, but highly recommended)
