This PE course equips students with the knowledge and skills for a healthy, active lifestyle. It combines theoretical understanding with practical application, focusing on health-related fitness and personal goal setting.
Units include Health & Fitness, Volleyball, Soccer (or Flag Football or Basketball), Dance (or Softball), Ultimate Frisbee, and Recreational Games. Students will develop fundamental motor skills, learn game strategies, and practice teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship.
The course emphasizes lifelong physical activity, injury prevention, and the vital role of exercise in overall well-being. Through diverse sports and fitness challenges, students will build confidence and gain tools for a healthy lifestyle beyond high school.
