Mauldin Middle School | 2025–2026
Welcome to 8th Grade Math! This course follows the 2025 South Carolina College- and Career-Ready Mathematics Standards and is designed to help students think critically, problem-solve, and prepare for success in high school math and beyond. Students will explore real-world connections through hands-on learning and collaborative practice.

Unit tests, major quizzes, and projects (~3 per quarter)
Students will follow the Mauldin Middle School Redo and Retake policy, including one retake on eligible major assignments if they have not met the success criteria for the assignment. No retakes will be given for minor grades.
Late Work
Greenville County School Late Policy allows students 5 school days to turn in any work that is not turned in on the due date. There will be a comment under the assignment on BackPack that contains the due date of the assignment and the last day that the assignment will be accepted. Anything turned in after the second date, will not be graded and will remain a NHI.
Students are expected to:
Complete all work honestly and independently.
Avoid cheating, plagiarism, or using unauthorized AI tools.
Ask for help when needed to maintain academic honesty.
Violations may result in a GFA and further consequences.

Use of Desmos, Aleks, and online resources in class.
Online companion for the textbooks.
Homework consists of unfinished classwork.
