I See Leaders

Our school is implementing a whole-school transformational process called The Leader in Me, which teaches 21st century leadership and life skills to students and creates a culture of student empowerment based on the idea that every child can be a leader.

LEAD Time

Each morning we have LEAD Time from 7:45-8:15.  This is an awesome time for us to focus on Leader in Me and learn more about the 7 Habits and how they can help us both at school and at home.  It is very important for your child to be at school on time so they do not miss this time. 

The 7 Habits

Habit 1 - Be Proactive , I'm in Charge of Me

Habit 2 - Begin with the End in Mind, Have a Plan

Habit 3 - Put First Things First, Work First Then Play

Habit 4 - Think Win Win

Habit 5 - Seek First to Understand, Then to be Understood (Listen before you Speak)

Habit 6 - Synergize, Together is Better

Habit 7 - Sharpen the Saw, Balance is Best

Habit 8 - Find Your Voice

In Mrs. Hutto's Classroom:

Once school starts, we will work together as a class to create a Class Mission Statement.  This will tell who we are as a group and what we want to be and learn together as leaders.
