In the 10th grade, students should be getting adjusted to the high school life and are given a little more freedom. Students work with their counselors to learn about the courses that will better prepare them for postsecondary options such as a 2 or 4 year colleges, the military, or the workforce. During this year of high school, students should begin exploring interests and hobbies that could become potential career options. It is important that students focus on their coursework and continue to become adjusted to new studying and learning styles as they progress throughout high school.
To be promoted to 11th grade, students must earn:
12 credits (must include 2 English credits and 2 Math credits, 1 Science credit, 1 Social Studies credit, as well as six other credits)
