Welcome, my name is Dr. Gabriel Chen Rodriguez and this is my webpage! I grew up in Greenville, having graduated from Berea High School and completed my first nine years of teaching there. I am excited to start my second year at Riverside, though this year starts my 11th year in education. 

A few things about me: 

• I was born in Panama City, Panama, until coming over to the states back in the early 2000's.

• I am bilingual, being able to speak both Spanish and English. 

• After high school, I went to Clemson University where I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and Science Teaching back in May of 2015. I followed this in August of 2019, obtaining my Masters in Literacy from Clemson University. Most recently, I earned my Doctorate in Education from the University of South Carolina this past May of 2024. 

• I enjoy watching Formula 1, trying to cook new recipes, and hope to meet my goal of reading at least one book per month.
