Formative Grading  Policy and Information

Please see the letter below about the Formative Assessment Program that is used in 6th grade science.  Partner with me in the success of your student by checking their grades periodically and celebrating their successes. If they have a NHI (represents work not handed in), please help to insure that they complete the assignment as soon as possible. It is imperative that student work is accomplished in a timely manner to insure adequate preparation for the major assessments and state testing.
