Hi! My name is Joey Leo, and I’m excited to welcome you to my classroom page!

This is my first year at Chandler Creek and also my first year teaching in Greenville County—but it’s far from my first year in the classroom! I’m entering my 15th year of teaching, though you might guess that from my lack of hair!
I'm married and have two wonderful kids: a 6-year-old son and a 4-year-old daughter. They are the fuel to my fire and keep me inspired every day.
I come from a large Italian family with one sister and more aunts, uncles, and cousins than I can count—and I wouldn’t have it any other way! I'm a big believer in the power of family and community, and I bring that spirit into my classroom.
In addition to teaching, I’m also proud to be the Head Baseball Coach at Riverside High School. I’ve been involved in sports my whole life—either playing or coaching—and that competitive spirit has fueled my love for math. After all, who doesn’t want to track their stats?
I’m deeply passionate about helping young people grow—not just as students, but as people. In our classroom, we will:
