Hello! I'm Shaina Hoffman, and I'm so excited to be your child's music teacher!
A little about me...
2025-2026 will be my 17th year in elementary music education!
I earned my Bachelor's degree in music education from Illinois State University and Master's degree from VanderCook College of Music in Chicago, IL.
My family and I moved to South Carolina in January of 2021 from the south suburbs of Chicago, IL.
At home, I am a mom of two super cool kids who also attend Brushy Creek.
I adore random "did you know" facts and the science behind how things work.
Growing up, I took piano lessons, played French horn, participated in marching band, sang in jazz choir, and performed in musicals!
Along with teaching, I love singing in choir at church. It's great fun to be on the ensemble side of the podium and keep my skills sharp!
Music has always been my passion and I love that I can share the joy it brings me each day with my students. Just keep singing!!
