Hello!  I'm Shaina Hoffman and I'm excited to be a part of the Brushy Creek community.

A little about me... 

• 2024-2025 will be my 16th year in elementary music education!  

• I earned my Bachelor's degree in music education from Illinois State University and Master's degree from VanderCook College of Music in Chicago.

• My family and I moved to South Carolina in January of 2021 from the south suburbs of Chicago, Illinois.

• At home, I am a mom of two super cool kids who also attend Brushy Creek. 

• I adore random "did you know" facts and the science behind how things work. 

• Growing up, I took piano lessons, played French horn, participated in marching band, sang in jazz choir, and performed in musicals!  

• Along with teaching, I have led summer music camps, directed children's church choirs, and assisted children's choirs in community musicals.  Music has always been my passion and I love that I can share the joy it brings me each day with my students.
