School counselors, teachers, and caregivers can refer a student to the RBHS program for mental health services.

What happens after a referral is submitted?
The student’s caregiver will be contacted via email to schedule a 10-15 minute consultation via phone call or in person at school. Reason for referral, appropriateness of services, and the intake process will be discussed during this consultation.
An intake appointment may then be scheduled to open a student for mental health services.
Referrals are prioritized by severity of needs. If you submit a referral and have questions about referral status, please email me or call my office phone at 864-355-4439.
What is the intake process like?
A parent or guardian must attend an initial intake appointment and sign necessary consents before their student can begin therapy services.
The appointment will take place at Blythe Academy.
Prepare for the appointment to last 60 to 90 minutes.
If your student has Medicaid, please bring a copy of their Medicaid card.
If your student does not have Medicaid, the services can be provided at no cost.
