Library Information
Mission: The mission of the Bethel Elementary school library media program is provide instruction and resources to ensure that students and staff are effective users and creators of ideas and information. The school library program empowers students to be critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, skillful researchers, and ethical users and producers of information.
Library Media Center Hours: 7:50 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. during school days.
Checkout Guidelines: K5 and 1st grade students may check out one book at a time during their weekly library visit. 2nd-5th graders may check out two books at a time. If students have reached their limits, they may not check out another book until a book is returned. Books can be renewed if they are not on hold for other students. Teachers and parents may check out as many books as needed.
Policies: 2nd-5th grade students may visit the library between 8:00am and 2:00pm with a library pass. If Mrs. Owen is teaching a class in the library, visiting students should remain quiet.
