Welcome to First Grade! 

My name is Ashley Nettles.  This is my 15th year of teaching and my 5th year at Rudolph Gordon School. I've taught both first grade and kindergarten in Greenville County. 

I grew up in Easley, SC with my mom and dad. I attended elementary-high school in Easley.  I received my bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education from Presbyterian College in 2011.  While at Presbyterian I was a cheerleader and a member of ZTA. In December of 2014, I earned my masters degree in Classroom Leadership from Southern Wesleyan University. I love to learn new and exciting ways to teach each and every student in my class!

I have been married for ten years to my husband, Jason. We have 2 daughters: Ellie (7) & Maggie (3). We are also expecting a little boy in February! In my free time I enjoy spending time outdoors at the lake and beach, reading, sewing, and being creative & crafty!

I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year! I truly do LOVE what I get to do every day and promise to love your child as if they were my own! It's going to be a great year!
