Hello!

I’m Ashley Tuttle, and I am thrilled to be your virtual PE teacher this year. I grew up in the small town of Alverton, Pennsylvania, and after graduating from Southmoreland High School, I went on to attend Alderson Broaddus University in Philippi, WV. During my time there, I played Division II college softball and earned a bachelor's degree in Recreational Sports Management, along with a minor in Secondary Education. I later obtained my Master's in Physical Education from Youngstown State University in Ohio.

My teaching journey began with two years of health education in the Lima City School District in Lima, Ohio. In the summer of 2015, I relocated to South Carolina so my husband could attend Sherman Chiropractic College. He now runs his own practice, Premiere Chiropractic Solutions, in Duncan, SC. This will be my 10th year teaching with Greenville County Schools.

Outside of teaching, I’m a proud mom to my 5-year-old son, Levi, and my 2-year-old son, Tobias (Toby). In my spare time, I enjoy sourdough baking, worm farming, camping, gardening, spin classes, and strength training.

I am looking forward to a fantastic year! While our class may look different from a traditional PE setting, I hope to help you enhance your fitness level, relieve stress, and equip you with the knowledge for a lifetime of fitness.
