Hello!

I’m Ashley Tuttle, and I am thrilled to be your virtual PE teacher this year. I grew up in the small town of Alverton, Pennsylvania, and after graduating from Southmoreland High School, I went on to attend Alderson Broaddus University in Philippi, WV. During my time there, I played Division II college softball and earned a bachelor's degree in Recreational Sports Management, along with a minor in Secondary Education. I later obtained my Master's in Physical Education from Youngstown State University in Ohio.

My education career started with two years of teaching health in Lima City School District in Ohio.  In the summer of 2015, I moved to South Carolina to support my husband as he attended Sherman Chiropractic College.  He now owns and operates Premiere Chiropractic Solutions in Duncan, while I am proudly entering my 10th year of teaching Physical Education with GCVSP.

Outside of teaching, I’m a proud mom to my 6-year-old son, Levi, and my 3-year-old son, Tobias (Toby). In my spare time, I enjoy sourdough baking, camping, gardening, spin classes, and strength training.

I am looking forward to a fantastic year! While our class may look different from a traditional PE setting, I hope to help you enhance your fitness level, relieve stress, and equip you with the knowledge for a lifetime of fitness.
